Excalibur Solutions STEM Academy® offers two distinct programs in your subscription—Content Library & Content Library Junior. Students work at their own pace through modules designed to introduce them to the fundamentals of computer science and electrical engineering.
The Content Library is divided into themed modules with submodules that walk students through completing activities in Tinkercad, with an Arduino, or programming in languages like Scratch and Python. More content is constantly being added in these and other technologies, and it becomes available in your subscription as soon as it is released!
New skills are presented one at a time. Each lesson reviews and applies concepts from previous lessons and activities, allowing students to grow into more advanced lessons by leveraging what they learned in earlier ones. This helps to strengthen existing connections while gradually incorporating new information. In this way, students' knowledge and understanding of computer programming and the relationship between electrical engineering and technology expand and evolve.
Features:- All Access to Content Library: A collection of self-paced projects designed for students beginning around 8th grade. Students will explore concepts in computer science and electrical engineering as they write programs to play games, control circuits, and more!
- All Access to Content Library Junior: This product contains modules, lessons, and content specifically developed for younger students and those with little or no prior experience with programming and electronics.
- Membership in a private community: (optional) An online community where subscribers can share tips, ask questions, and join interactive sessions to talk with members of the Excalibur Solutions STEM Academy® team.
