Description:The BMA is a great place to have a field trip! They have three different self-guided kits—called Song Pack, Costume Pack, and Sketch Pack—that kids can use to sing, dress up, or sketch their way through the galleries. These kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis every Thursday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check with the website for more family and educational enrichment activities.

Founded in 1914 with just one painting, the BMA today is home to some 90,000 works of art. Their internationally acclaimed collection contains artworks ranging from contemporary masterpieces to old world classics - including the largest holding of Henri Matisse originals on the planet.
At the BMA you will discover an outstanding array of fine and decorative arts, including 15th to 19th century prints and drawings; relics and significant objects from Africa, Asia, the Ancient Americas, and the Pacific Islands; and works by established and emerging contemporary artists.
