 | Mrs. Renita Henderson, Co-op Member | Large park on the causeway in the Mobile Bay. Lots of walking as it is all self guided tours, so wear comfy shoes.
The park has several Marine and air machines on display. No dogs allowed in battleship or buildings.
There is the biggest is "The USS Battleship Alabama" that is open for explorations and even overnights adventures for groups our boy scouts spent the night). You have smaller Submarine USS DRUM submarine that is on display and can watch a video of it that runs continuously in the Aircraft Pavilion.
The Aircraft Pavilion is a big building with planes and such. They do have a concession that sells food called "The Galley".
They say it takes at least 2 hours to see it all, but you can stay all day if you like. |
