Biomes specializes in hands-on marine biology programs for schools and families throughout Southern New England. The marine biology education center opens mostly for group visits, but has public walk in hours. The discount is applicable during the public walk-in hours. Biomes is a wonderful local resource!! There are many hands-on tanks and the kids can touch sharks, rays, crabs, urchins, etc. We particularly like going around lunch time during the week - it's usually very quiet and we practically have the place to ourselves.
