Description:Challenger Learning Centers were established to honor the 51-L Crew that perished on January 28, 1986 in the Challenger Space Shuttle explosion. The Brownsburg Challenger Learning Center is proud to offer simulated space missions, distance learning programs, teacher training, professional development, enrichment programs and corporate missions.

The Challenger Learning Center uses hands-on, inquiry based activities to engage participants in activities that encourage teamwork, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

My oldest son did one of the missions open to the public. He came home so excited about all the neat things they were able to do. They were able to use equipment that they would never get to use at home such as a robotic arm. They also had to use problem solving and math skills to complete their mission. This was a neat opportunity for him.
