Cougar Mountain Zoological Park |
A small zoo that is the home of a large variety of Macaw birds, a couple of Cougar, two new Tigers, lemurs and more. It is close up, the education is great, and they have Reindeer, which are a big hit in the winter especially. There are a few animals that you can hand feed. The zoo is very well maintained and has a beautiful view high above Lake Sammamish. |

 | Juliet, Co-op Member | Our family really enjoys Cougar Mountain Zoo. Make sure to bring plenty of quarters so you can buy food to feed a wallaby, deer or llamas. This zoo is small, but we very nice. We actually prefer it this way because my kids feel like they get to know most of the animals. They even refer to their favorite birds by name at home. :-)
The staff is really nice and helpful. |
