Denver Botanical Gardens |
Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street presents a wide range of gardens and collections that illustrate a diversity of plants from all corners of the world. Distinctive gardens define and celebrate our Western identity and a unique high altitude climate and geography. Many gardens are models of drought-tolerance and showcase native and adapted plants that thrive in Western gardens. Programs offer a wonderful opportunity for children and families to grow their interest in plants and the outdoor world. All programs include hands-on investigations, garden explorations, and projects to take home. A new Mordecai Children's Garden just opened, offering kids a place to play, explore and discover. Because the natural environment constantly changes, no two visits in this magical 3-acre oasis will be alike. |
