The Eagle River Nature Center was one of our absolute favorite places to visit when we lived in Anchorage. The trails are well maintained and there are educational signs through out the trails. There are several different trails depending on the distance and difficulty you want to hike. There are also many geocaches hidden in the Center. The educational nature classes that are offered by the Center are great! We have never been disappointed with any class we attended. Our children loved visiting, and it was a frequent field trip for us.
