This is a wonderful park in a pristine, natural setting. There are several types of camping facilities available, such as wooded, family and outback. Hiking trails range from wheelchair accessible to overnight hikes. Canoes are available for rental or you can bring your own. There is a beach for swimming and throughout the summer the staff puts on various educational programs.

There is an annual homeschooling get together held here in September.
