Provider:Luminosity: Beat The Chimp
Summary:Age Range: All (with parental supervision) Sometimes, you just need to have fun with numbers! This website offers a free number memory game that is more challenging than it appears.
Description:When you get to the site, you'll see a brief introduction. Be sure to click on the words "Watch Ayumu." A new page opens where you'll see a video that introduces a 7-year-old chimpanzee named Ayumu, who helps memory researchers at Kyoto University.

The chimp is shown 5 numbers on a computer screen for a fraction of a second. Then the numbers disappear from the screen, and blank markers are left where the numbers once existed. The chimp clicks on the markers placing the numbers that were briefly shown in numerical order. Sounds easy, right? Try it yourself and see!

Once you watch Ayumu, go back to the home page. Click on the circle to get a glimpse of the numbers. Then click on the marker squares to recall the numbers in numeric order. Can you beat the chimp? Have fun!

Enjoy!
