| Description: | The Makoshika Dinosaur Museum displays fossils from around the world, emphasizing Hell Creek Formation finds. The late Cretaceous, Jurassic and Ages of the Sea Cavern are interpreted. Showcase displays include life-sized Allosaurus and Stegosaurus in combat, Pterosaurs of all sizes, the “Wall of Bone,” and a 77-foot hand-painted mural of the Mesozoic. There’s a working prep-lab and the Paleokids Project for youngsters. |
