| Description: | Padilla Bay is a wonderful interpretive center offering free classes. It also has trails with a small aquarium and amazing exhibits focusing on the animal and plant life of the Pacific Northwest. Also included is a scientific lab and a huge library. The staff is very knowledgeable and a parent and children could spend a year learning about Pacific Northwest estuaries, forests, and tidal flats. Bring hiking shoes as well as mud boots!! |
