*What contributions that they gave to our great nation.

Hopefully, by instilling in our children the message that our parents and ancestors all came to America to seek a better life, despite the differences in the color of our skin, the lessons attempt to help children start to understand that they should grow up to judge people by who they are and not merely by what they look like.

The best thing is, the lessons are 100% scripted, which are great for home school teachers who may not have had too
much experience teaching in a more "formal" setting. Also, the history lessons on the site, intended as a 37-week full school year curriculum, is offered free to families who choose to use them. That's one full school year's worth of history lessons offered to you for free!!
