Roger Williams Park Zoo is one of the nicest zoos we have ever been to. It is very large and extremely clean. The zoo runs lots of great programs throughout the year so be sure to check the site if you are planning on going.

If you go be sure to see the Harbor Seal
exhibit. It was a hit with all of the kids the day we went.

Outside the zoo there are lots of great grassy areas to let the kids run around or have a picnic. You could easily spend a whole day here.

Roger Williams Park Zoo is wonderful. We tend to go early on warmer days so the animals are all up and active. During the fall/winter it is also a great time to visit as there are generally no crowds.

Outside of the zoo within the Roger Williams Park are lots of recreational areas as well as historic buildings and information.

We have an annual membership so if we go for an hour or an entire day it doesn't matter
