There is a large variety of dolls from several generations. They will bring back memories for many, both male and female. They come in a wide range of sizes, from as tall as 5ft. to smaller than a thimble. It is fun to see the different countries they are made in and the materials they are made from. See some of the most incredible and rarest dolls of the world. Also enjoy many different types of furnished doll houses. It is especially fun to open the special draws for even more surprises. I would suggest at least a couple of hours for your visit. The Museum has their own parking lot and it is FREE. It might be hard for children 10 and under to stay engaged unless they have a real interest, as the number of dolls can be over whelming. There are a few of short videos(around 5min.) that are very informative, but no interactive areas.
Please note some prices have changed: Adults are now $10, Senior Citizens(65+)are now $9. Handicap accessible
IMPORTANT: After 19 years, the museum will be CLOSING March 1, 2012.
If you have an interest, it is DEFIANTLY worth the time to check it out before it closes.
