Description:	Sagamore Hill was the home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, from 1885 until his death in 1919. From 1902 to 1908 his "Summer White House" was the focus of international attention. Otherwise, it was the home of a most remarkable fellow.

Elisa L., Co-op Member I set up a field trip to go to Sagamore Hill back in April 2015. It was a lovely day, and we were able to see the Old Orchard Museum and get a small walking tour of the outside of the Main House. It was a quiet day, with not a huge number of visitors that day. Mind you, this was prior to the reopening of the newly reburbished Main House. The Park Rangers were knowledgeable and they were able to accommodate our group of almost 50 people fairly well. We split up the group by age and were able to hear the rangers well. There are park benches behind the visitor's center. I believe there were some snack/drink vending machines, however, I do not believe hot/cold food is available for purchase.
