Facility:Slifer House Museum
Description:Slifer House Museum was built for Eli Slifer who served as Secretary of PA. during the Civil War. His house was designed by the eminent Philadelphia architect Samuel Sloan, 1860-1862.The restored Victorian mansion overlooking the Susquehanna River was built about 1862. Victorian furnishings and decorative arts are displayed.
