|Facility:||The Peanut Patch|
|Description:||The Peanut Patch founded by homesteaders, Gerry and Franny Didier after WWII in the 1950s. In 1977, Gerry and Franny opened The Peanut Patch store to the public. The store changed hands after Gerry passed away. The current owners, the George family, take the same pride in their work as the original homesteaders, the Didier family.
The Peanut Patch offers free tours of their facilities. Guests will learn all about peanuts including how they are grown, how they are harvested, and how they get turned into some of our favorite treats such as peanut butter. Guests will also get to sample some of the delicious goodies from the store.
