 | Pam R., Co-op Member | This is a great museum to see artifacts from Ancient Egypt. They even have a real live mummy...I mean a real dead mummy. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to see Ancient Egyptian relics while studying ancient history. |

 | Terri B., Co-op Member | We went to one of the homeschool programs they offered on Ancient Egypt and both of my boys, ages 5 and 10 loved it! They learned about hieroglyphics and made their own messages on papyrus using the hieroglyphics. They both enjoyed the Ancient Egypt guided tour they received also as part of the workshop. The mummy was of course their favorite part (boys will be boys!) Definately check their website and get on their email list for homeschool programs....they do them once a month during the school year and they are free or very little cost. |

 | T. Palma, Co-op Member | Love the Walters Museum! We went to discover their ancient Greek and Roman artifacts. They have packets with hi-quality, color cards and information for kids to use to explore the exhibit rooms and find certain pieces. The back of the cards have information and questions. No need to create a lesson plan! The education packet is available online, but they have them all ready for you at the museum - and they are yours to keep! Took a sneak peek at the ancient Egypt rooms, and wow! Plan to repeat visit for those. The rest of the museums offers a wealth of art and artifacts, something for everyone! |
