The Kids Cook Solo Program is a twelve month membership for the family. With simple self-paced lessons written directly to kids, your child will independently learn basic kitchen skills and (bonus) presentation skills. After just 3 lessons, you'll have independent snack makers, and after all 9 lessons they'll be able to make many recipes (without knives needed).
With most of the lesson time off screen, students will spend time working with their hands and being creative using basic kitchen supplies. With easy to follow, kid-friendly recipes using basic ingredients, kids will make pancakes and homemade dressing, to homemade tortillas and white sauce. Allergy-friendly substitutions are included for common allergens.
Kids are thoroughly trained on kitchen safety within each lesson and are instructed to teach you what they have learned. No knives are included through the independent study course. Kids will present what they've learned to you, and you'll get a quick checklist to make sure they know their techniques, are organized, and stay safe.
By focusing on skills, older kids will build the confidence they need to create other side dishes, snacks, and apps... saving you minutes each day. By completing just one lesson per week, you will have an independent cook before you know it!Features:
