SmartPoints is a free program that the Club has created to help members get more for their money. Participation is free to all Club members. Take advantage of this program, or not, it's up to you! But if you do, you must familiarize yourself with the Terms of Service.

How does it work? It's simple! You earn SmartPoints for various activities that benefit you and other homeschoolers. Then, when you have accumulated a minimum of 2,500 SmartPoints, use them to apply to purchases of homeschool curriculum available through the Club. For starters, we have given you 100 SmartPoints just for joining the Club! To see your points, click the My SmartPoints link in the My Account dropdown menu. Click the Earn text link on your My SmartPoints page to see what you can do to get more SmartPoints.

When you are ready to redeem your SmartPoints, during checkout, select the box on the Billing & Shipping Information page that says “Click here to pay with your SmartPoints." Your available SmartPoints will be used towards your order balance. For example, if you have enough SmartPoints to pay for the entire order, your entire SmartPoints balance will be applied. Otherwise, only the available balance of your SmartPoints will be applied. Note that at this time, we are unable to apply SmartPoints to a month-to-month subscription so you will need to pay for those orders with a credit card.
